Peter Capaldi joins British actors to support Cuban art show
We want to thank actor Peter Capaldi for this message of support:
“Contemporary Cuban art is as intense and vivid as it’s ever been, so the chance to see some of it in the flesh in ‘Presente!’ is not to be missed. Help bring these works to London and lend some Latin excitement to the British scene.”
Peter Capaldi is supporting ¡PRESENTE! the exhibition of contemporary art from Cuba which will run from 6-29 October 2016 at London’s GX Gallery. ¡PRESENTE! will give 25 Cuban artists a rare opportunity to display their work in the UK, and profits from artwork sales will fund materials for Cuba’s art schools via UK charity Music Fund for Cuba.
Please support the appeal to bring young rising star of Cuban art, Adislén Reyes, to Britain for the show and to participate in an associated programme of events.
Deadline 20 March 2016.
