On their recent visit to Cuba, the PRESENTE! organising team visited Luis Camejo in his studio.  Luis is one of Cuba’s most internationally renowned artists.

He will be showing some of his work at the PRESENTE! exhibition and also, we hope, attending.  This photo shows Luis working on his latest painting.  The organising team visited a large number of artists’ studios to see their work and talk with them about it, together with the exhibition’s Cuban curator, Chrislie Perez Perez.  This is part of the process of selecting works to bring to the UK for the exhibition in October.
