Cuban painter Ernesto Garcia, whose work will be shown in the Presente! exhibition, is currently taking part in a 13-strong group exhibition in the US, at the Under The Bridge art space in Miami, Florida. It runs from mid-September until the end of October.
Curated by Rafael Domenech, the show uses simulated domestic spaces “to investigate the relationship between the history of the neighborhood, the building and the physical characteristics of the space. It utilizes the domestic space as a platform to articulate dialogues about collecting, displaying, appearance, and popular and material culture.”
