René Peña is one of the most exciting photographers working in Cuba today. He is currently showing work in Mexico City, in the exhibition ¡Que miradas indiscretas, mamá! Fotografía cubana contemporánea, along with 4 other Cuban photographers Juan Carlos Alom, Consuelo Castañeda, Marta María Pérez Bravo, and Mabel Poblet. Peña will also be participating in the Presente! exhibition of Contemporary Art in Cuba at the GX Gallery, London, 6-29 October 2016.
